Apartment life

Just got word that our apartment complex wants to jack our rent up by $240/month. Did the apartment suddenly get bigger? Did a washer and dryer suddenly appear in the apartment? How does one justify that much of an increase? Damn you Debt! If it wasn't for you I would be buying a house right now!

    Doesn't look like it. They're holding firm. We have already started looking for another place. I really was hoping the next time we moved would be into a rental house or something like that.

    The good news is if you decide to move, Joanna can make a new manifest. Maybe you CAN move into a rental house.

    It looks like the Rental houses are too expensive. We are going to meet with a financial planner soon to look at the possibility of buying a house. Our credit rating is good enough, it's just a question of how much of a down payment we're going to need.
